The Jewish holiday of Passover (Saturday 27 March 2021) is traditionally begun with a seder dinner to mark the start of the 7 day observation of Passover. Like Easter, the exact date on our Western Civilization Gregorian calendar varies from year-to-year because it is marked on the 15th day of the the Hebrew calendar month of Nisan. Passover is one of the Pilgrimage Festivals and is held in honor of the exodus of the Children of Israel from slavery in Egypt.
To celebrate Passover, YFYT has partnered with Charlotte’s Meshugganah – Modern Jewish Cuisine, and we will substitute this Passover menu in place of our standard shrimp and grits.
1st course – Traditional Matzo Ball Soup 2ndcourse – Wagyu Beef Brisket, Fennel, Meyer Lemon and Herbs. Served with Simple Steamed Potatoes 3rd course – Flourless Chocolate-Strawberry Cake.
