One thing we can say about Chef Sam: he makes a good interview subject. Don’t get me wrong, he’s an amazing chef. The food speaks for itself (or “res ipsa loquitur” in Latin) and stands apart. But that alone doesn’t explain how he manages to get asked for interviews and conversations.

The fact remains, he’s an interesting person. He lives an interesting life. He’s done things. He’s a little edgy, but in a comforting way that makes you want to just hang out with him. And rumor has it, he’s easy on the eyes.
