YFYT started catering almost immediately after we started delivering food. Generally, it was tiny family gatherings COVID weddings 6 college buddies breaking bread and intimate couples dinners and anniversaries. On the other hand, one client had us “cater” a virtualZoom Christmas party to a whole team of 120 people by home delivery! In other words, the sky’s the limit when it comes to how a catered gig might look for you.

Since COVID restrictions have been lifted, people are cautiously returning to larger events, such as weddings with passed and served starters followed by a seated or buffet-style dinner cocktail parties with heavy hors d’oeuvres and fund raising events with finger foods. We’ve even booked several holiday events. 

At the same time, we see a lot of casual “no reason” parties – anywhere from 6 to 20 people gathering to enjoy being out and about among friends without being too far out.

So whether you’re thinking of something NoDa casual or Myers Park fancy, we’ve got you covered for anything between 2 and 60 guests.

Here’s how it works:

  • For groups of 16 to 60, we offer a “service buy out” event where you buy out our daily service with your private event, which requires a $2,000 minimum. This is priced at $125 per person but may vary.
  • For groups of 5 to 15, we provide an “after hours” event where Chef Sam arrives at your event between 6:00 and 6:30 after finishing our daily delivery service. Actual times depend on your location. This is priced at $125 per person but may vary.
  • For groups of 2 to 4, we provide an “after hours” event on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is priced at $125 per person but may vary.
